Bodegas Santa Ana is a new addition to our range. Historically Argentina was referred to as the ‘sleeping-giant’ within the context of the global wine-industry. The country, one of the worlds top five largest wine producing nations, never seemed to be able to fulfil the enormous potential it had at its disposal, especially when you consider the success enjoyed by its close neighbour Chile and other smaller wine producing nations, such as Australia and South Africa.
Over the past decade substantial investment aimed at improving quality has been made in Argentina, resulting in a whole new quality of Argentinean wine. The results are now starting to pay off and we have been able to source some truly individual wines of startling quality and price, the grape to watch here is definitely the Malbec!
